Description: This is a vintage makeup brush holder from Sakowitz of Houston. Sakowitz was an upscale department store that was founded in 1902, and closed all stores in 1990. This pouch probably dates from the late 1970’s. It is being offered without any the brushes. Measures 6” x 3” x 1/2”. Made of vinyl. Inside are two clear pockets, each of which closes with a clear flap. The piece is in good to fair condition. The brown exterior is very clean, and the only defect is a separation down part of the spine on one side (see last picture). The inside is structurally intact, but has some makeup stains, which could probably be removed with something stronger than the soap and water I tried. I ship free within the USA on the same day as receiving payment, using recycled packaging materials whenever possible.
