Description: Up for your consideration is a Vintage/Antique German Sculpture Beer Stein Anno 1830 Mold #1259A 7" Tall 1/2 Liter. Item is in very good condition. Stamped Germany 1259A on base, 0.5L on Mouth. Mold was copied by the Japanese but never duplicated. This is a very old stein so expect some flaws. There are no cracks or chips. There is crazing throughout but the craftsmanship is remarkable. Front of the Stein at the top has Anno 1830 incased in a ribbon. In the middle with all the drinking figures it has the words "Wer rennt u. wuhlt, mit Geld nur klingt Und Stehend nur sein' Schoppen trinkt Den treff' des Wortes Vol= gewicht Ruh' ist die reset Burger= pflicht."
