Description: Acoustic Research AR 93s stereo speakers. The pair have been completely refurbished. The following has been completed: ~ Cabinets were emptied, all particle board surfaces were coated with 3 coats of wood restorer. afterwards 2 coats of black oil base paint was applied. ~All 4 woofers and both 8" midrange drivers foam surrounds were replaced and centered utilizing a tone generator. ~Crossovers capacitors replaced ~Drivers were installed utilizing strip caulk for an airtight seal ~New cabinet socks were made mimicking the originals ~Top cap and bottom base were detailed ~ New AR emblems installed ~ 8 hour test/bench period The AR 93s speakers are incredible performers, clean crisp natural highs, incredible midrange due to the 8" midrange driver and incredible low end. Local pick up is preferred, but we will ship at the cost of the buyer. each cabinet boxed will be 60 lbs. the shipping calculator will be for only one speaker.
