Description: Vintage 1940’s (or I have seen it described as 1930’s) tin dual aircraft wind up toy by USA company Unique Art mfg Co.. it is quite wonderful and consists of a central tower with dimensions. 8 1/2 inches tall by 10 inch base the blimp is 9 inches long and three inches tall. I have included photos with a pound coin and pencil for scale. There is an arm which hooks onto a wind up plane at one end and a zeppelin blimp at the other. I have owned this for over 25 years and originally bought it in Upstate New York. The wind up place which makes the whole thing rotate has worked during my ownership but I think the spring is overwound right now. Anyway, a beautiful thing. Yes it has dust and looks aged because it is. But it is complete and still looks great. Any questions or extra photos please ask.
