Description: This Beautiful cotton whig rose quilt is all hand appliqued and hand quilted, with an unusual swag border with what lookslike a vine of Maple Leaves with Berries. It measures 81" X 81" and is in excellent condition!!! Looks So Lovely! This has a thin batting and is so Heavily Quilted. The back is a creamy white and the binding is too! And they must have hung it at a quilt show as there is a cloth pocket across the top.I got this with other quilts from the 1930's. Not quite sure how old this is...possibly older. There are some really light age spots and no holes or tears. Please look at the last two photos. I am not quite sure what the pattern is called. It sort of looks like a whig rose. Very Clean Quilt!!
