Description: Just out of a local smoke free house is this great Arts and Crafts Handel era brass lamp. It has a solid base, a woven brass column, and a brass basketweave woven shade with a fabric liner. It has the decal mark Metal Glo and the partial decal of Wirecraft National Standard co. of Niles Michigan. The lamp measures about13 5/8 inches high to the top of the finial and about 7 5/8 inches at its widest. The lamp is in good original condition. The socket is original and was even found with an old light bulb. The wire was updated years ago and the electrics work well. There is some wear and small losses of brass paint on the base.
