Many of us rode this old mustang in our younger years. The freshening up and detailing that we have done on this popular Old West toy has prepared him well for his retirement home. What better place to retire than the home, living room, den, or office of someone who knows or dreams about this old rider? This is a vintage, 60's or 70's, molded plastic, spring horse/ rocking horse toy that has been retired from riding and converted to a carousel horse (for display purposes only).It is the original 'Wonder Horse' brand complete with an Old West theme, including REAL leather reins, brass and bronze metal tack, matching leather cowboy hat (brand new, never worn), and the quintessential wooden toy rubber band shooter rifle with "ammo" (rubber bands) to boot!-We have tried to show as much detail as possible in the photos contained in the listing Note: This is a vintage item. Vintage items contain blemishes and signs of use, age, and storage. This 'Wonder Horse' has scuffs, scratches, etc. in the paint, stains and imperfections which come with age (which of us at 50 or 60 doesn't have this trouble?) All these contribute to its unique character. The cedar wood base is in its natural state. Natural cedar cracks and checks as it dries and ages. There is nothing wrong with the wood. It is a normal phenomenon.-Wonder Horse Company produced these items as late as 1983. There is no date stamp on the horse.
