Description: Vintage Wood Bekins Box with Yukan Yomiru newspaper pages and Collier's Magazine Ad. This is from an estate. The wood box is approx. 11 1/2" long, 4" tall with a depth of a little over 3". Comes with a lid. One side has a sticker that reads, "Bekins 781018 Pc. No. 096. The top has some Oriental writing and a name label taped on. The inside lid also has some writing, name label taped and on the top writing on tape that reads, "Kiyomasa Kato, Warlord of Kumamote, who distinguished himself in the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1597." The tape is yellowed, worn and has tears in it. The wood box also has some wear on it also. The few newspaper pages and the magazine pages were stored inside the box, folded with creases, some slight tears. Please see all pictures, sold as is - thanks for looking.
