Description: The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a vtg 'Twas the night before Christmas footed horizontal paneled planter by the Louisville Stoneware Co. 1974. The planter has raised decoration and handpainted scenery with Santa and reindeer over roof tops. Kids dreaming of treats, a person sleeping and a lady looking out a window. Stylized graphics. The panel is trimmed with green bands, also a green band at tops edge. The planter is in good condition with no chips/cracks. Many flaws in pottery like near the base. One flaw looks like a reglued chip but it's not. Made that way. It has a few small holes in the flaw. Pinholes in areas. Many, many pinholes inside: made that way. Pottery and glaze flaws: made that way. The pottery will have spots, dots lumps and bumps tht are made that way. Theres a flaw on the ridge side and top. There are flaws on underside on ridge. Also, part of the ridge is the side flaw. Theres blue bleeding writing; made that way. It's marked on underside Twas the night before Christmas 1974 Louisville Stoneware Company.
