Description: Vintage Very Old Hexagon Roofing Hatchet, With Primitive Wood Handle, No Maker's Mark. Hammer part is mushroomed some, pictures will show. The hatchet part needs a proper sharpening. Roofing hatchet head has scratches, and marks, from normal use. It is not the original wood handle, but it was the handle that came with the hatchet. Wood Handle has scratches, marks, and stains, from normal use. Also handle has a old nail driven in it, to keep the head tight, and that is another reason, it is old, I have never seen a nail with a # on the head. it is #10.
