Description: Here we have one lot of 3 Crown plastic roof walks. These fit the Crown 'O' scale refrigerator cars, single sheath boxcars and the undersized express boxcars---as well as the later versions of these same rail cars by Weaver. They do NOT fit the larger Weaver PS-1 boxcars. (I have those listed as well.) These are replicas of wooden roof walks as used commonly before WW2. They can be used to replace lost or broken roof walks on the above-mentioned models. But in my opinion, they would serve well to replace the crude wooden roof walks on dowdy old kit-built boxcars and reefers, with the bulging escutcheon pins---or the thick strips of leaden metal roof walks, often wavy or bowed. These Crown roof walks have thin edges, and are well detailed, with actual gaps between the simulated grainy planks & bolt nubs in the right places.
