Description: A summer Harrington jacket from Workers. The shape is based on the Harrington jacket I made previously for fall and winter, but I made some changes because it doesn't have a lining. There is no umbrella yoke on the back. I thought about adding one, but without a lining, it wouldn't be neat. It would add more steps, and the labor costs would go up. No matter how I thought about it, it would only be self-satisfaction on the part of the maker to say, "Look! I added an umbrella!", so I decided not to add one. I added tucks and openings to the cuffs and sleeves so that they could be rolled up. The difficult part was finishing the pockets. Since there is no lining, the back of the pocket is visible. So I finished it neatly with a bag stitch. The facing is also a problem. If I sew it to the body, the atmosphere changes. The depth of the bag cloth will disappear and it will be difficult to use. So I added a few centimeters to the top. And three rolls at the bottom. In addition, I attached part of the bag cloth to the facing to prevent the bag from flapping. Since there is no waist rib, is there any way to improve the fit around the waist? So I added an adjuster with a tab and button to the back. The front zipper is an Asahi zipper with a smooth automatic lock.The material is the classic 5.5 oz linen. Having used it in the past and seen it washed and finished, I decided that it would be fine to use it for a zippered blouson as it has a very good shrinkage rate (shrink-resistant). If you attach a zipper to a shrinkable material, the material will shrink and the zipper will not shrink and will undulate. However, even though it is linen that does not shrink easily, it is not recommended to tumble dry it. Place it in a laundry net and dry it in the shade on a weak water flow.
