I know nothing about bayonets accept for recent research. They were packed in vasoline and wrapped and stored. I cleaned them with wd40 as well as I could.Reasearched These were used for the Model 1903 Springfield Rifles of WWI. Enfield 1907 bayonet. Based on the markings, the bayonet is English made and was produced by J Chapman in September 1916. Blade 16.75
