I do not use stock photos or photos of other people’s items.This is a unique hand made relic of the "home front" in World War I. It is a napkin ring made by a soldier in the "47th Field Artillery" created after August 27, 1918 from the 301st Cavalry Regiment and stationed at Camp Kearny California using a 45mm artillery shell . This unit and two others were demobilized at Camp Kearny in February 1919. At least one soldier in the 47th died of the Influenza. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age. If Free Shipping is offered it will be by the cheapest method possible, for books that will be Media Mail.
