Description: Original scrapbook of Cincinnati Enquirer and Cincinnati Post newspaper headlines and other daily clippings during the period of the war following Adolf Hitler's death and Germany's surrender up to a month before the atomic bombs were dropped on Japan. This scrapbook is in nice condition for it's age. There is wear as would be expected, however the binding is good and there are no loose pages. The scrapbook contains 142 pages of almost daily headlines and other WW2 related clippings spanning May 15, 1945 through July 10, 1945. This is a really great piece of history!
