Description: Beautiful 1944 dated USMC dress blue tunic. Size 36, all buttons are present and it has belt loop hooks on both sides. The period collar ega’s are present ***(typically removed on these, hard to find in place and matching {pic})****. The collar band has its hooks firmly in place. Inside the right breast pocket has a label with the date, size and it appears to be Ft Dearborn (pic). Also has the maker tag, appears to of been tailored in Tennessee (pic). I believe the ribbon bars to be original to the tunic (pic). And the Cpl patches are original and period sewn on. Very nice piece - very hard to find with all the bells and whistles. Someone recently asked if there was a name. No name, nor on the tag. I believe there is a serial number of B1085.
